Bog Day today! The next book in Bog Standard Isekai is coming out, and man, this is a big one. Warbound is the book that takes everything to the next level. You can expect bigger battles, badder bosses, higher highs, and lower lows. Brin is on the battlefield with the greatest heroes and the most terrible villains, and while you’re still going to get those huge, bombastic battles where the heavy hitters come out to play, there’s also a lot for Brin to do, and he’s not going to watch from the sidelines. I pulled out all the stops for this one, and I think you’re really going to like how it turned out. I get excited for every release, for sure, but this book is the one that I honestly think is the best I’ve ever written.
This is book 5! Can you believe it? It’s certainly hard for me to really believe. I feel like it was just yesterday I was sitting down at my computer dashing out a couple chapters of something new, just because I wanted to clear my head from my other projects that were giving me writer’s block. Now three years, five books, and thousands of amazing fans later, and I still feel like I’m just getting started. Five books already? Put me down for another five!
Sincere thanks to all of you. I want to believe that pure passion could carry me this far, but honestly, it’s thanks to all of you that I’m able to keep writing Bog. I’m still completely mind-blown that I get to do this, that this is my life. So, thank you. I truly have the greatest fans.

In addition to the release, Miles has a couple of events coming up this week. His Reddit AMA in r/litrpg will start tonight (8/18) at 9 PM EST. He will also be joining the OPS team for a gaming stream this Thursday — 6:30 PM EST.
The Discount Dan: Mythic-Grade Hardback Kickstarter is closing in only three days. The support for this project has been overwhelming, and we are already comfortably over $100K raised. The list of upgrades you already unlocked would take up an entire email on its own, but James had an idea for one more milestone.
If we hit $125K (Why not, let’s go crazy), in addition to the signature, James will be adding a Croc doodle to every copy of the special edition. He loves doodling, but even for him, that’s a lot of doodling.
To help reach this Final Final Final stretch goal, we introduced a new add-on. Handwritten personalization (adding a name, a message, or a short quote from the book) to the signature. Just to be clear, EVERY book is already going to be signed. And if we hit the stretch goal, every book will also get a doodle. But this is an option for those who would like to add a little extra uniqueness to their copy.
