This is KLA Spanjer, author of Familiar Magic, and with Book 3 finally coming out, I couldn’t be more excited!
It’s been an amazing experience seeing how many people are diving into the first two books, and this one should be the most satisfying of them all. For those of you new to the series, it follows a Doctor in a world where healing is outlawed, and true power comes from magical familiars. The first two books have seen our protagonist put through countless challenges, but always coming out stronger and more determined. Book 3 will see him using the power he’s earned to take charge of his destiny, and maybe even change the world.
This series has been a blast to write, and seeing your reactions has been even more amazing. Even though this book finishes the first trilogy, Doctor Bishop’s story has only just begun. If you’re into wild magical powers, granted by incredible monsters and demons, then this series is for you. I hope you’ll step into a world of dangers and wonders, and maybe even ask yourself what familiar you’d choose?
