The time we’ve been waiting for has finally come! Well, it’s the time I’ve been waiting for, and hopefully you as well. Book 4 of Bog Standard Isekai, Benighted, is finally out!
I’ve been extremely excited to release this book for a number of reasons, the chief being how much it continues Brin’s journey through the world of Bog Standard Isekai and brings it to the next level. I was very careful to make a very broad foundation for this book series, and that meant spending a lot of time in the training and development phase. Now Brin has grown into his power, and he’s entering larger conflicts with bigger stakes. War has come to the world, and Brin will be right at the center of it. Expect fewer witches and more epic last stands against overwhelming odds.
In other news, I just checked out the results for the opinion poll, and Brin, the main character, only barely made second place over his dragon companion. First place goes to Hogg, the surly and world-worn mentor. Honorable mention goes to scissors-guy, a random villager in Hammon’s Bog whom I only mention twice and never by name. He fought with a giant pair of scissors and carried a startling amount of the write-in votes.
Lastly, thanks for reading. Creating these stories has been one of the absolute joys of my lifetime, and it’s with extreme gratitude that I thank you all for helping to make them possible.

The first three books have already racked up 30 million KU page reads, and that number is only going to go up.
